After the second tournament of the 2021 Women’s All Pro Tour season, the Race to Stage II rankings saw a bit of movement thanks to several strong performances at the second annual Wichita Falls Championship.
Binny Lee (Frisco, TX) moves into the No. 1 spot on the points list at 610 points following her playoff victory at the Wichita Falls Championship this past week. Right behind the two-time WAPT champion at No. 2 is the Mackie Construction Ladies Pro Champion Ginger Howard (Bradenton, FL) with 535 points.
Up four spots from last week coming in at No. 3 is Fernanda Lira Solis (Mexico City, Mexico) with 289 points after her third-place finish in the Wichita Falls Championship. Katharine Patrick (West University Place, TX) and Anna Appert Lund (Fort Wayne, IN) round out the top-five in a tie in the No. 4 spot at 163 points.
Alison Muirhead (Scotland) is not far behind in the No. 6 spot with 151 points after her top-10 and her T-12 performance at Wichita Falls.
“After a winter break from competition I am very happy and feel my game is moving into the right direction,” says Muirhead. “I just need to keep pushing forward and am really looking forward to the next couple of events to see if I can improve my standing even further.”
Brenda Gonzalez (Torreon, Mexico) is No. 7 after a top-10 and T-12 as well. After two events Megan Osland (Kelowna, BC) sits at No. 8 with 132 points.
To complete the top-10, in their one start each Sarah Rhee (Seattle, WA) and Emma Broze (Stillwater, OK) have earned 104 points, respectively.
At the end of the season, the top-five players in the Race to Stage II will receive exemptions into Stage II of LPGA Q-School.
