New ANNIKA Women’s All Pro Tour Schedule Released

Membership Registration Opens Today | 2024 Membership

The ANNIKA Womens All Pro Tour has plans for 11 tournaments during the 2024 season. The events will run from April to August to prepare the women for the First Stage of LPGA Qualifying in mid-August.

Each of the 11 events in 2024 will provide two Epson Tour tournament exemptions to the top two finishers. Additionally, every event will be included in the Race To Stage II which rewards the top five points earners with exemptions to Stage II of LPGA Qualifying School.

The 2024 season will open, as it has for the past two years, in Mandeville, LA, near New Orleans. The US Restoration Northshore Championship will again be hosted by Beau Chene Country Club, April 3-6, 2024. YiYi Liu of Rancho Mirage CA, won the 2023 season opener in a rainy 6 hole playoff. However, Liu will not return to defend her title as she has earned her LPGA Tour card for ‘24.

Next, the AWAPT moves to Lake Charles, LA, for the L’Auberge Lake Charles Championship at Contraband Bayou Golf Club, April 10-13. L’Auberge Casino Resort rolls out the red carpet for the players and sponsors with amazing hospitality and food, making it a tournament you will not want to miss.

Natchez, MS, which is known for its history, finishes the first ANNIKA WAPT series of events at the Taco Bell Natchez Classic, April 17-20, 2024. The tournament is held at the Beau Pré Country Club and is considered one of the best golf courses in the Magnolia State. Closing out the month of April is the West Texas Classic honoring Judy Rankin, April 30-May 3, held in Abilene, TX. This year the tournament will be moved to the newly renovated North Course at Abilene CC.

The Oscar Williams Classic, May 7-10, is one the remaining original events on the ANNIKA WAPT schedule. The members at Hurricane Creek CC pride themselves on being the players’ ‘Second Home’ with their hospitality. The tournament has had a celebrated circle of Champions including LPGA winner, Grace Kim.

The FCA Women’s Championship in Broken Arrow, OK closes out the three tournament stretch. The members at the Club at Indian Springs saw a fantastic finish where Phoenix Arizona’s Mikayla Fitzpatrick outlasted now LPGA Tour member, Gurleen Kaur.

June will have two ANNIKA WAPT events. At the date of this article, a TBD announced site will be played June 11-14.

The Beaumont Emergency Hospital Open at the lush Beaumont Country Club will be held June 18-21. Previous winners include 2022 Player of the Year, Miranda Wang, and LPGA member, Kaitlyn Papp.

July hosts two tournaments, both are considered one of the best on tour. The Genesis of Conway Central Arkansas Open will be held at Centennial Golf and CC, July 10-13. The tournament is renowned for some of the best hospitality on tour with an abundance of private housing and several events for the players to get involved with, including activities outside of the golf course. Crystal Wang, a University of Illinois grad, made her professional debut and showed she belonged on tour with her first professional win!

Trophy Club CC will host the Kathy Whitworth 88, July 17-20. The tournament is named in the memory of LPGA legend Kathy Whitworth. The event is one of the original tour stops but recently moved from Paris, TX to Trophy Club, TX. ‘23 Race to Stage II number 5, Brigitte Thibault  (Canada) earned her first professional win here. She gave an emotional speech mentioning the late legend, who for the first time since the tournament inception, did not personally hand out the champion’s trophy.

The 2024 ANNIKA Women’s All Pro Tour season concludes at the Heritage Classic in Wichita, Kansas, August 1-4. Rolling Hills Country Club is a perfect setting to host the Tour’s Championship Finale. The golf fans of Wichita, young and old, come out to support the players in their last attempt to climb into one of the coveted Top 5 spots in the Race to Stage II. Gurleen Kaur earned her first professional victory here in 2023 and began her meteoric climb to the LPGA Tour.

Tournament registration opens February 21st. You can find the full 2024 tournament schedule, Here.
