Mohan Du Takes Home Winner’s Check in Round 3 of The NEXT Golf Tour

With the 2025 golf season right around the corner, many players are preparing for the season by finding ways to fine tune their skills and dial in their stock yardages. One of those ways has been competing on The NEXT Golf Tour powered by Trackman. Introducing a new way to play and earn money, The NEXT Golf Tour brings the intensity of tournament competition to the indoors–virtually. 

ANNIKA WAPT member, Mohan Du recently won Round 3 of the NEXT Golf Tour and took home a $30,000 winner’s check plus a $5,000 ANNIKA Bonus. Played on a Trackam simulator, each event on the NEXT Golf Tour consists of a single 18-hole individual stroke play round on a select Trackman Virtual Golf Course. 

“I think the NEXT Golf Tour is really nice to have during the off season because it gives me a chance to keep competitive and test out my game. Especially with having the Trackman devices, it helps me to understand my game better,” said Du. “I’ve really worked on the ball striking to dial the numbers and ball flight, so this tour really helps bring out what I need to work on.”  

Having four top 20 finishes on the 2023 ANNIKA WAPT including a fourth place finish at the 2023 Mackie Construction Pro Golf Classic, Du is now shifting focus on her EPSON Tour status for the upcoming season.   

“This is a great step and big support for women’s golf. It’s such a great platform for us to reach our dreams and potential. I’m really happy to have been playing on the ANNIKA WAPT for the past three years and to have something like The NEXT Golf Tour. And now I’m having a new start with some EPSON status this year and playing some LPGA Monday Qualifiers,” said Du.   

Along with tournament purses averaging $200,000, the ANNIKA Foundation and World Golf Hall of Famer Annika Sörenstam introduced the ANNIKA Bonus which gives an extra $15,000 in payouts to the top five female players each round. These payouts include: 1st-$5,000, 2nd-$4,000, 3rd-$3,000, 4th-$2,000, and 5th-$1,000 on top of any stroke play or side games earnings.
