Things To Know About The ANNIKA WAPT Tour Championship - Heritage Classic at Rollings Hills CC

The ANNIKA Women’s All Pro Tour will conclude its 11- event 2024 season at the Heritage Classic located in Wichita, Kansas. The event, also known as the Tour Championship, will be held at Rolling Hills Country Club, August 1-4. The 127 playing field will look to take part of the $100,000 purse, with $20,000 going to the winner. Here are a few things to know about the Heritage Classic: 


Tour Championship: Callaway Race To Qualifying  

With this event concluding the ‘24 season, players will look to fight for the Top 5 Callaway Race To Qualifying spots on the points standings list. The Race To Qualifying is a season-long points race that begins at the first regular season event and concludes at the ANNIKA WAPT Tour Championship. The top five (5) players will advance to the Qualifying (previously known as Stage II) of the LPGA Qualifying school and will receive a Q-School scholarship that pays their entry fees to each stage they participate. Players finishing 6th through 10th on the points standings list will receive a scholarship that pays their entry fees for Stage I. 


After finishing T4 at the Kathy Whitworth Championship, Alison Muirhead remains in the number one spot with 1,905 points. Nannette Hill (Jupiter, FL) also remains in the second spot earning 31 points for her T24 standing at the Kathy Whitworth Championship. However, Yeji Kwon (Canada) moved up two spots for her T4 finish at the Kathy Whitworth Championship, which makes the 18-year-old Canadian the youngest player to be in the top five for the 2024 season. Despite only playing three out of 11 events, Hailee Cooper has remained in the top five standings with 1,090 points, while Victoria Gailey (Tigard, OR) moved down one spot to the number five position.  

Twenty of the Top twenty-five players on the Callaway Race To Qualifying are in the Heritage Classic field.

Cooper and Muirhead set to compete for third win in 2024


Among the 127 players who look to take on Rolling Hills CC, are Hailee Cooper and Alison Muirhead who have both won twice during the 2024 season. Cooper, has dual status on the ANNIKA and Epson Tours, and has only played in three ANNIKA WAPT events, won her professional debut at the L’Auberge Lake Charles Championship and the Oscar Williams Classic.. Muirhead started off the season with a strong start by taking home the title at the US Restoration Northshore Championship and then went on to win the Redbird Championship, which was a first year event for the tour. No player has won three times in a season. WIll one of these ladies be the first? 

Schedule of Events   


The Heritage Classic will also offer more than just tournament play with its schedule of events throughout the week. Starting on Tuesday, professionals and junior players from the Wichita community will have a chance to play in the Junior Pro-Am which begins at 9:00 a.m. Following the Junior Pro-Am, participants will be able to enjoy a pool and pizza party along with attending the Welcome Party to kick-off the week. Wednesday, professionals will also have the opportunity to connect with Rolling Hill CC members and tournament sponsors for the Sponsor Pro-Am that will begin at 9:00 a.m. On Friday, juniors will have the chance to get tips and tricks from pros at the Junior Clinic, followed by a Sunset Party to celebrate those who made the cut for the final two rounds. Saturday, golfers of all levels are welcome to put their short game skills to the test at the Putting Contest with opportunities to take home prizes.
